Hi,
I have just spent 1 hour 15 with michelle looking at the alternative to the Ameo that we looked at before christmas. This ASus lap-top is easire to use but has a short battery life and would not appeal as much to the students. i need to see how the Move-on e.g. Hot Topics appear and how easy they are to use in the AMEO before making my suggestion. The Move on tests are easly on these ASUS machines.
I e-mailed Tribalk who produce Move on to see if we could get source files to adapt materials for our own use. I expect Tribal to say No as they are there programmes.
Well, I enjoyed using this mini lap top.
Regards,
Adrian

On your marks ...
Missed the training for these "molenet mumblings". I am now on board with my first experience of blogging. Thanks Mich! Very excited about the experience. Can't wait to try my hands on the kit.

Into the unknown of M Learning
November Greeetings:
I am in the W'hall suite about to emark on the M learning experience. Will I be asking 'How was it for you ?' What have I pondered so far ? The research: effect of mobile Technology on Learning; effect on retention, achievement and anecdotal evidence. Also, when do we get the kit to play with.

Exciting Times
I have just had a meeting about marketing and thought when the kit arrives we must try and organise a photo opportunity.

What's it all about?
We are undertaking a mobile learning project with our level 1 literacy students, funded through the MoLENet initiative. This blog will hopefully give you an insight into our journey into mlearning this year.
The Project Aims:
To use mlearning to change student attitudes towards learning literacy and indeed to the process of learning) by supporting anytime anywhere learning.
To use mlearning to facilitate personalized learning and improve teaching and learning within literacy lessons.
The ultimate goal is to improve literacy skills and raise success rates.
